Mr. Daniel S. Pena, Sr. Chairman.

Mr. Pena is Chairman and Founder of The Guthrie Group (TGG), an investment consortium specializing in facilitating transactions founded in 1997. Mr. Pena was also the founder, former Chairman, President, and CEO of Great Wester Resources, Inc. (GWRI), a Houston-based natural resource company. Mr. Pena grew 55 million percent over an 8-year period during which energy prices everywhere were plummeting. Mr. Pena co-founded and served as the Chairman of JPK Industries, Inc., and President and CEO of Kennedy Industries, Inc. He currently serves as Chairman of his personal holding and other growing companies in various industries across the U.S., Europe, Canada, and Asia.

Mr. Pena brings unprecedented business acumen and leadership to the the Relicus Board of Directors. His experience on Wall Street as well as in negotiating transactions with major international financial institutions, law firms, foreign governments and accountancy firms have enabled him to refine a proven process for exponential business growth and contribute an X-factor advantage of incalculable value.

Dr. John A Robinson, Founder & Managing Director.

Since 2006, Dr. Robinson has been fiercely committed to helping thousands of patients navigate healthy and optimal aging. He is the Owner and Chief Medical Officer of The Hormone Zone, a state-of-the-art-medical practice that focuses on, among other specialties, age management, functional endocrinology, and regenerative and aesthetic medicine, and he and his wife-a practicing partner at The Hormone Zone- are regularly featured in major media outlets and have authored several books. Dr. Robinson’s own journey in the wellness industry began nearly 30 years ago with an early introduction into Advanced Message Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and eventually, a Naturopathic Medical degree, which he earned from the Southwest College of Naturopathic medicine in Tempe, Arizona.

Dr. Robinson brings to Relicus an extensive and intimate understanding of the Retail Health industry, as well as a driving vision to develop its fragmented, unrealized potential, creating massive equity and leading Relicus into the future of wellness medicine.

A Welcome from Our Founder

Warren Beck, MBA, Chief Financial Officer.​

Mr. Beck has 45 years of experience in healthcare with specialization in general finance and accounting, budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial and capital planning, management of short-and long-term debt; revenue cycle improvement and physician recruitment and integration. During his career, Mr. Beck was the Chief Financial Officer for 18 years for a leading Academic Medical Center with $3.5 Billion in revenue, and managed multiple due diligence teams through acquisition evaluations of hospitals, ancillary providers and physician groups.

After transitioning from Academic Medicine, Mr. Beck assumed the role of CEO for a private equity-supported healthcare entity, overseeing its growth and managing the team during a successful sale and exit transaction. Following this, he led business strategy and Advisory Services for a prominent accounting firm, specializing in healthcare finance, strategy, mergers, acquisitions, integration, and litigation support. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Relicus Medical Holdings, LLC, Mr. Beck collaborates closely with the C-Suite team on management decisions for acquired clinics and conducts financial analysis for potential acquisitions.

Additionally, he serves as adjunct faculty for the Vanderbilt University Owen School of Business, conducting classes in Healthcare Managerial Accounting, Budgeting and interpreting Financial Statements.

Edward Laborde, JD, Advisory Director

In addition to 25 years of legal practice experience, Mr. Laborde brings extensive and distinct professional expertise in the areas of healthcare service, transactions, and operations. A archiving attorney with the prestigious Polsinelli Law Firm, Mr. Laborde has structured, completed, and advised on a number of high-impact healthcare cases, involving senior, outpatient, ASC, and publicly-owned care providers; complex integrated health care systems; dispute resolution; hospital development; MS syndication; biotechnology IPOs; and company representation and financing. 

James Martell, KPMG (Ret.), Healthcare Finance and Transactional Expert.​

A resourceful self-starter with nearly 4 decades of expertise providing audit, financial reporting, and advisory services to healthcare organizations, Mr. Martell is ideally prepared to enhance the transactional and financial needs of the Relicus venture. His vast experience includes Lead Audit Partner for large complex heal care clients that span all sub sections of the healthcare industry, leading local healthcare practices and partners to financial success. Mr. Martell excels all the nuance of financial transactions, excercising unparalleled due diligence in areas like client resolution, consensus building, accurate documentation, financial reporting, and document preparation.
